| Abstract: | A Query-Driven Simulation system Cassandra+ is described that allows end-users to ask
queries about outcomes of running simulation models written in various simulation languages.
The architecture of Cassandra+, its query language SimQL, and the implementation of the
system are described. It is argued that Query-Driven Simulations provide a more declarative,
flexible, and interactive approach to asking questions about simulation outcomes than the traditional
approaches of letting the end-users run simulations and gather statistics on the trace
files being produced. |
