| Abstract: | This paper reports on a recent survey of 25 of the largest PC users in
the financial industry. The survey focused on non-data processing use of
PC's in end user divisions. Descriptive data on the uses, users, quality
control, and decision making practices are examined. A stage theory,
based on PC telecommunication configurations, is proposed to account for
organizational differences in utilization and management. |
