| Abstract: | Photograph of Joseph Calbacca driving his collection truck (Joey's Toy)
in Columbus Day Parade. The photograph was probably taken a decade ago. |
| Description: | This type of collection truck (BR) was officially out of circulation by
the time the picture was taken. Because the vehicle was extraordinary
well preserved, Calbacca was allowed to keep his “toy”. The
photograph measures 4 x 5.96". It is part of a set of photographs
taken during the parade. The photographer is unknown but the photographs
were compiled by the Department of Sanitation. |
