| Abstract: | This is the program for 'I am an American.' The event was organized to
celebrate American citizenship. It took place on May 21st, 1961. The
Department of Sanitation was one of the six cooperating departments. The
Band, directed by John Celebre, performed during the celebration. |
| Description: | The program measures 8.45 x 11.64". Four pages form it. The words:
"Sanitation Department", "Band" and the name of
"Frank Lucia", are underlined, so is the date in the cover
page. The program was found among contents of a binder labeled
"Sanitation Band Historical Collection, Bureau of Public Affairs,
and Compiled by: Joel Feuer." |
