| Abstract: | This is the 1965 spring issue of 'Sweep.' This was a magazine published
quarterly by the Department of Sanitation of the City of New York. Frank
J. Lucia was the Commissioner at this time. 'Sweep' covered several
aspects of the life of a worker of the Department of Sanitation.
Sections such as 'Social Security Changes,' 'Retiring Types,'
'Collectors' Items,' 'Match Faces,' or 'While the City Sleeps' can be
found in this publication. The Department of Sanitation stopped the
publication of this magazine after the economic crisis during the 70's. |
