The FDA undertakes to preserve files deposited within it as-is, and to allow these files to be retrieved. It works to ascertain the validity of files upon desposit and to permanently preserve files in that state. The FDA does not provide migration of files from one format to another. Depositors should remember that not all potential viewers may have the means to view certain formats and should use file formats that are most commonly-used and most appropriate to their content.
