Abstract: A crossword puzzle and answer page in the Summer 1966 issue of Sweep Magazine issued by the New York Department of Sanitaton. The puzzle is on page 11 and the answers are on page 28 of Sweep. The puzzle was written by District Superintendent, James H. McBurney.
Description: The subject of the crossword puzzle is information that sanitation workers should know. For example, landfill decomposition stages, sanitation vehicle information, and officers within the Department. The answers to the crossword puzzle are on the second page (page 28 in Sweep). Also on this page, informative paragraphs about members of Queens Districts within the Department of Sanitation.
