dc.descriptionOn November 2, 2007, Lt. Patrick Flynn was interviewed at the Environmental Police offices at 44 Beaver Street in Manhattan. He discusses his experiences working for the Department of Sanitation from the beginning of his career through the present. Some important topics he discussed are the duties of the Environmental Police and his role in the Pipe and Drum band. Flynn is one of the founding members of the Pipe & Drum Band and is very involved with the Emerald Society, one of the Department of Sanitation's largest benevolent societies. Flynn also gives an impromptu bagpipe performance.-
