Abstract: The second issue of the JEiE contains five articles -- three research articles and two field notes -- and three book reviews that cover a wide range of academic subjects. The subjects in this issue include lessons from an approach centered on trauma and psychosocial support in Gaza; norms, violence, and girls' education in Afghanistan; and citizenship education in Mali.
