dc.description	השר גלילי ועמיתיו הביאו לוועדה הצעות להפקעות מאסיביות בבקעת הירדן. השר אלון תמך מאוד, בין השאר על-מנת ליצור עובדות בשטח לפני זירוז משא ומתן מדיני שהוא צפה שממשל קרטר החדש יתחיל בו. השר פרס דרש זהירות, דווקא על שום זה, והשר צדוק דרש להקפיד על נהלי הבדיקה לפני הפקעות. לבסוף הוחלט שכל המומחים במשרדים השונים יעסקו בכל ההכנות.
