| Title: | Dental Licensure Exams Involving Human Subjects — What Is the Justification? |
| Authors: | Recker, Frank R |
| Issue Date: | 1-Jun-2018 |
| Publisher: | New York University |
| Abstract: | In his commentary, Dr. Recker presents the perspective of a licensed dentist, former dental board member, licensure examiner, and attorney and concludes that a dental licensing exam using a human subject is wholly unjustified and, in fact, primitive. He offers a provocative reason for their continued use, writing that it is “blind adherence to the past ... and the millions of dollars received by regional testing agencies.” |
