Black and white (possibly sepia-toned?) photo, glossy with white borders, 8" x 10". Presumably taken September 9, 1938, from information written on envelope. Brown stain on front looks like 3 drops of coffee in a line parallel to lamppost. Nothing on verso. Provenance: removed from site by Robin Nagle, 9/07. One of two photos found in kraft envelope; "NO NEG" written in black magic marker across bottom (no negative found in envelope); pencil handwriting across top center of envelope, left to right, reads "D.S. Baskets + Cans Sept. 9/38." Second photo print is lighter; not scanned at this time (10/11/07).en
