Uniformed men who appear to be firemen stand behind him, along with what appear to be civilians. Business names and street numbers visible and partially visible. Street and occasion unknown. |
| Description: | Black and white glossy 8" x 10" photo with white borders. Verso: pencil "25642" in top right corner. Provenance: Removed from site by Robin Nagle, 9/07. Found in kraft envelope with printed block reading "Name______.No._______/Remarks_______/Date______/Dr.______" in top left; lines not filled in. Black magic marker on envelope: "25642." Smaller kraft envelope inside contains 4" x 5" plate negative (good condition); envelope reads, in caps, "Case No.____/Date____/Name____/Address____/Remarks____/_____." (Also blank.) Pencil along length of top: "Daily News," underlined. Black ink: "25642." (Published in Daily News?) |
