Abstract: The first edition of the JEiE contains four articles - three research articles and one field note - and one book review that cover a variety of scholarly/policy topics and types of research design. Topics include a review of research on the history of education in countries affected by conflict, the impact of psychosocial program interventions, and instructional techniques for teachers working with refugees.
