Abstract: Project Goal: This project produced a white paper on the findings about using Chat GPT to help students write their research proposals in the NYU Research Process Methodology class. This report advises faculty on what Chat GPT can help when students write each part of the research proposals in their RPM class and how he should guide students to use Chat GPT. Project Description: This report examines the features of Chat GPT to see how it can execute and automate day-to-day office operation tasks when writing a research proposal. It identifies tasks and processes the Chat GPT cannot complete, to reinforce the need for human resources within the particular role. Finally, it proposes how the education of MASY students may need to change based on the project’s outcome and how this tool may be integrated into the curriculum.
Description: Generative AI, specifically Chat GPT, applied to the teaching of a Research and Process Methods class.
