dc.description.abstract | The El Deir team of geographers visited the site at Amheida for a few days in late January 2011, under the Partner University Fund convention between New York University, the Université de Poitiers and Université de Limoges. The purpose of this visit was to liaise with Amheida geologist Dr, Katherine Adelsberger, and exchange ideas about the Holocene and historical evolution of the site environment, based on joint fieldwork observations and comparison with the Deir site in the Kharga oasis. | en |
