dc.description"Awareness on HIV/AIDS and positive attitudes towards victims of HIV/AIDS may not always go hand in hand. While the better educated women, upper caste women and women form small farming households were more knowledgeable about HIV/AIDS, they were often more critical, punishing, untrusting, expelling and withdrawing towards the victims of HIV/AIDS. The exception to this rule were the Adivasi women who were both more aware and less critical."en_US
