The excavation continued in two areas where the exploration already started in previous years (the temple Area 4.1 and the residential/public Area 2.2). A new area has been opened (Area 2.3) east of Area 2.2, where a public building with columns was mapped earlier during the topographic survey. Other projects and activities continued during the season as in the past, like the topographical and the geological surveys, the painting of the replica of Serenos’ house, and the reconstruction of the temple scenes in the block house, as well as the study of finds from previous years in preparation for publication.en
